One of my other favorite types, Decidueye is my favorite starter, which is good because the water starter this gen isn't exactly to my tastes unlike all the previous. Grass has lots of neat designs and cool concepts like Ferrothorn, Abomasnow or Kartana.

Electric is kinda weird. Despite being one of the seemingly main elemental types there's surprisingly few of them. Way less machinelike pokemon then I'd expect, basically only Magnemite, Voltorb, Rotom and Xurkitree. Most of them are just electric animals but a lot of them are cool like Luxray Eelektross, Vikavolt. And then you have weird cool stuff like Tapu Koko or Alolan Golem the bearded Railgun.
