>>25294489I think you're misunderstanding something. The segments would only look like boulders. Animals in real life can look like twigs, leaves, like parts of trees so why not rocks? Hell, just for the sake of it I googled "rock looking creature" and what do you know, there is an organism that looks like a fuckin' rock. It's called a Pyura chilensis took that from a website, no idea what the common name is and I'm too lazy to look it up.
