>>21582122Basically every game has an origin value that helps discern in which game a Pokemon was generated, for example X/Y are 24/25 respectively, followed by AS/OR as 26/27. The Pentagon that we thought to be for "Kalos Pokemon" is not actually for that, but rather it's for "Pokemon Generated on Gen VI".
Now by doing a simple modification in the origin value of a Pokemon, say changing it to 28 or 29 will also display the "Gen 6 Pokemon" mark, or Pentagon, if you change it to anything further than that the pokemon will simply not have the pentagon and will only say it came from a faraway place. In short, in the data there's 6 games recognized as "Generation VI" and we know 4 of them already.
Pokebank also confirmed this in its early days.
