>>12337933Thank you, and you make some very good points. Personally I'm unfond of defensive battles, but the (continued) existence of 'tanks' in MMOs shows they have their fans, and I'm willing to say those players deserve a part of the game that really gives them what they want.
As to making it a positive rather than negative challenge, I suppose one way would be to place a travelling merchant rather than a travelling doctor. If it can be scripted that they have limited stock, all the better, if not, oh well. I think this might encourage the right "stock up and use items" mentality, but then again it might not.
Any other ideas, anyone?
