>>54606215Many of my favorites are Sinnoh crossgen evolutions (Tangrowth at the top and Yanmega second) along with most of the Pokémon from those lines, and while I'm glad those lines did get further recognition in gen 4, they've mostly been left to rot since then. There's almost never a reason to consider using them outside lower-power metas unless the high BST ones happen to be useful in a specific situation (i.e., HP Ice Tangrowth) mainly because of mechaniccreep and the existence of the eviolite. While I'm glad that some of these Pokémon are kinda useful in Pokémon GO (you're better off just running them as a starter in Platinum via a randomizer than trying to find them in the newer games) most of them are either significantly outclassed, their pre-evo is still better, or they get nothing but scraps for moves because no one cares about Pokémon like Ambipom.
Overall I'm still frustrated, but there's nothing I can really do about it.
