I'm about to tell you something that might piss you off, and it's that you have probably missed at least 50 shinies so far because they have spawned inside a fucking wall. Any place with any kind of natural wall will have Pokemon spawn inside it. Caves are walls btw.
When I found a Lechonk outbreak, they were right next to a huge mountain, and for some reason only like 4 kept popping up. After about 2 hours of searching, I just randomly somehow glitched my camera into the mountain wall and saw a shit ton of Lechonk all spawned inside of it. Was fucking furious because I knew I 100% missed one because of this shit.
Huge tip, if you are hunting near any kind of natural wall, zoom in with ZL when you're right next to it and your camera will clip inside of it and you can see the Pokemon. The wall has to be to your right since you zoom in over your right shoulder.

Caution: be careful if your eyes can't stand things spazzing out on a TV screen. Depending on how many pokemon are near you when looking into a wall, when you zoom in the camera will keep targeting random shit back and forth and make the camera spazz out.
