- Psuedo-Reboot. Takes place three years after Ash wins the Alola League.
- Art-style, the best I can describe it, is an in-between of XY and SM. There's also a mix of serious episodes and light-hearted gag episodes. Think it's a good middle-ground personally
- Ash has gone missing and a kid named Chase takes his place as protagonist who's goal is simply to find and meet him and bring him back home.
- Chase has done his homework when it comes to being a trainer, but his issue is he's basically trying to speed-run his journey, which goes on to cause problems later in the series
- Chase region hops constantly since he's primarily concerned with finding out where Ash is and is only following various leads he gets from people he meets in his journey.
- Chase has both a fat Pikachu and an Eevee which can shapeshift into it's other forms at will at the start. It's not explained how his Eevee can do that. Goes on to get fan favourites from previous regions (Riolu, Kanto Starters, Sneasel, Ralts, Scorbunny)
