>>38255098>worst groupMisty is fine and while Brock is better than Tracey, having him around just for this off-season saga is actually kind of refreshing, sort of like a vacation (which is the whole point of the arc to begin with). Plus his Marill and Venonat are helpful in very cool ways (hearing and radar vision). We also get a ton of Professor Oak in this series via video call.
Also, since this is a lull in between two regions, it doesn't really make sense to complain about fillers.
What I do love is that the episodes are in general so good. There's great scenery all around, tons of episodes are visually interesting (tanned ranger Nurse Joy is amazing, the blood moon is pretty, all the dirigible zeppelin action is great). There are many nighttime episodes, the islands all have their own interesting architecture and culture.
Oh and the 4Kids VA for the Rocket Trio are doing their best job so far.
It's really good and I encourage you to watch it all again.
