https://tiermaker.com/create/pokemon-clover-219326I'm building a rough tier list for the first portion of the game, I figure that while some of the top tiers translate, Ebin is overall different enough to warrant its own tier list; that said, Wondertrade pokemon are acceptable for it, considering you can spam it near the end. I've played the game a couple times, but not extensively, so feedback or alternate takes on pokemon I've rated would be appreciated!
A couple justifications.
All of the SS+ tiers are able to hardwall a not insignificant portion of the game, and generally halt enemy momentum entirely.
NotRidley is the best setup sweeper available, to my knowledge, and has good enough stats to hold his own even WITHOUT Dragon Dance. With it, he can run over pretty much the entire E4.
Warudio is for the most part an A tier, but Regenerator makes it something else.
I was going to put Spedo right behind Notridley, but then I realized you can't be a bad player if you're using Arena Trap productively, so that's a conundrum.
Motherfuck and Smoxilon are basically there for Spore. Spore lets you get away with a lot.
Barbarkley would be S tier, but I'm not sure how reliably you can get Magic Bounce on it before Ebin.
Spookzilla is, imo, the best "honest" pokemon in the game, if you consider Intimidate+Spook Out honest. It can just flat out trade favorably with most big threats in the game. Galavire is right behind it with even more honesty, backed by very well placed stats, fantastic typing, ability, and movepool, and just generally being cementable on literally any team.
Machimona is pretty much just budget Spookzilla.
Goryanus, I want it to be good, but it just doesn't have the stats Spookzilla does, Sheer Force is great, but the Life Orb is in Ebin, and losing Spook Out's flinch hurts.
Draconius hits fuckhard, and is surprisingly(?) versatile besides.
Toxiraptor is too frail, and I find usually doesn't quite hit hard enough to OHKO with coverage.
