>>58300740This post made me realize I haven't actually shilled any of my works recently because my writing has slowed down. If I'm not just barely on the cusp of being annoying about it then I'm slacking.
Crystal Light: A Pokemon Final Fantasy is a retelling of Final Fantasy 1's barebones 'we haven't learned how to have a character say more than two lines of dialog at a time so the villain's grand monologue in the finale is actually 4 npcs that spawn in and out that you have to talk to one after the other' story. The monsters of the medieval fantasy world are all pokemon, and warriors must often fight along side their pokemon partners in battle. Less like modern FF and more classic fantasy with elves, dwarves, and an ancient evil. It follows the journey of Wol and Blastoise, the second strongest knights in the kingdom, as they and their human and pokemon companions attempt to discover the truth of the slow death of the elements of nature.
First major 'arc' has reached it's climax, but I haven't been shilling it because finding the time to write has been hard the last few months. I am slowly making progress on the next chapter. Don't let the Final Fantasy name drive you off as a cross over, the characters are all pretty much OCs based on the NPCs from the game. This is a Pokemon cake with medieval fantasy frosting.
