>>46392362Not fun to play, no entertaining fights to look forward to, and I was even satisfied with SwSh's battles. Rose has a more interesting line-up than XY's final gym and main villain. Boring. XY are the least replayable games for me because of that, battles are the most important to me. Not even gyms used megas, at least Gamefreak learned and had Galar actually uses their gimmick.
The campaign is pretty poorly balanced in general with NPC teams feeling like an afterthought, Exp share overloading you with exp compared to even the gens that came after, and megas on top just taking a huge shit on everything in the game.
I don't like how XY chose to develop its characters. Diantha and Lysandre get extremely little while the awful rivals waste your time so much. Not even next to nothing, Diantha gets absolutely nothing.
Weird story pacing. Gyms 1 and 2 are so comfy but everything else is a lame rush.
I don't like the VN portraits they used for battles. The trainer sprites of previous gens and the 3D model of later gens were both better. What's worse is that literal who like all of team flare got models over the gyms, E4, and champion.
