>Gen 1 had a very unique design ethos when it came to how they represented Ice types, and it's something I feel was lost in the transition to "FAT ARCTIC ANIMALS" being the central design philosophy. You see Gen 1 Ice type design patterns show up sometimes in mons like Glaceon, Froslass and Aurorus, but it feels like the exception rather than the rule.>Gen 8 was awful for ice types, but then again it was just a shit gen for mon designs period.
