The paranoid and psychotic part's an exaggeration, but I'd love to play the role.
I'd also love to set up a Center of the Earth-themed gym. Most of the 'mons would be fossils, and I'd want to hit as fast as possible.

It became a pricey underground wild animal park that's gotten bad rep for poor maintenance and questionable approaches to exhibition.
I tend to brush it off and deeply enjoy being there with my pokemon.
The grunts are zookeepers who are either harshly cynical about or completely absorbed into the park.
