Pokemon designs have somehow managed to become more and more boring the more complex they get.
Gen 1 had a fucking purple rat. A rat, but now it's purple, and yet somehow it's way more charming than the focus tested over-designed shit of Sword and Shield. It's like the more they try to make something cool, the less it actually is.
