I'm posting another version of my map, this time with a backdrop. I'm looking for comments about the general concept of the region.
The western half of the region will be heavily urbanized. The eastern half will be rural and here there will be diversity in the environments, such as a valley, a snowy mountain, some lakes, a forest, and a desert.
There will also be some islands off the coast where the player can catch some legendary Pokemon such as Latias and Latios. The current island in the map will host the Pokemon League and Victory Road. The Pokemon League which will be a lighthouse-like building. Meanwhile Victory Road won't be a cave, rather it will be akin to Route 23 in Black 2/White 2
I also want to see if anyone can guess the real life location based on what I've described still.
