I've had an idea that may or may not work, but it's certainly interesting to think about. Type based tiers, so anything and everything with that type is usable. It would almost certainly play differently from the current tiers, and pokemon that dominate currently may not be so effective, and each type would have their own style of playing. Some current thoughts on a few types:
Dragon - it'd be a hot mess of hyper offense, with everything being SE against each other. Things like M-Altaria might tear up the place; conversely the tier might be filled with so many counters for it it'll be unplayable.
Grass - their main advantage in a variety of status and 'debuff' moves like Leech Seed will be useless here; will M-Venusaur rule or will Flamethrower Gourgeist see some love?
Ghost - similar to Dragon, can't see anything but the bulkiest of Ghost types living too long. Will M-Gengar dominate? Probably, but maybe som lesser used pokes like M-Banette and Mismagius could find stronger niches.
