Aside from that picture being hella cute, it being on this general feels like another tug to go back to writing my old fanfic.

I'm constantly haunted by it and the fact I stopped back in 2012. I started when I was in high school, so early stuff was BAD. But I was obsessed. I made so many plot lines, characters, had so many notes... I still have a few notebooks. But now it's been so long I don't even know if I have the capacity to write it anymore.

Just want to point out another point towards Pokemon Company/Game Freak's retardation with events here: WHY is there a waiting period after an event is announced? Once you announce it on the site, why can't players just register then and there? A longer window would only bring in more entrants.

It's my own fault for forgetting, not setting a reminder, or something. Like fuck, I KNEW I'd end up forgetting. But this wouldn't be a problem if registration was open from day one. It's like Pokemon has a fetish for over-complicating things.

I hate that I love this franchise.

My new years resolution was to learn to draw and I've been following through, but I just realized that if I keep up with it as a hobby I'll have even less time to write. My productivity is cutting into my productivity.

On the bright side, drawing is much easier than I expected, which makes it easier to stay motivated to practice.
