TPC even made their own publicity stunt by apologizing for a Dewgong on their anime short. The recent trend is to bash older Pokemon games like R/S and say "yeah well this one was bad too or worse"
At the end of the day they are the series most controversial games and nothing is going to change that. Unless the DLC is really good.
