the games will be similar to legends with a rotatable camera and mostly open world. there are still sections with locked camera view (routes).
the region is fairly mountainous and has some pretty unique locale. theres an area based on the tianzi mountains(pic rel) and i think its really nice looking
dont know much abou the story but it will focus on martial arts and will be related to the fighting styles. each one has its own dojo and similar to gen 7 z moves you will travel the region and learn the different styles. each style focuses on a different type of move. the two most basic ones work exactly like the legends styles but there are some that boost status/buff moves. (swords dance will be +3 instead of +2).
PP has been reworked to work better with this format and PP conservation is a big part of battling.
