>>19213765When you open Pokegen, you will start out on the main tab. The stuff on the left displays info about the pokemon we'll be editing (or in this case, creating). I'll be giving instructions for making a Japanese ditto so most of you can use it for Masuda Method shiny breeding.
You can ignore the PID part, Pokegen will automatically generate one for you when we're done. For now, go to the species menu, and set it to Ditto.
As for name, since we're making one from a Japanese cart, we'll just leave it as メタモン, Ditto's japanese name. Since it's not a nickname, leave the nickname box unchecked.
Put in the nature you want next, Adamant is here as an example.
If you want a held item in your Gen 5 game, you can put one in, though make sure the pokemon isn't holding items that can't be held like Key Items and TMs.
Set the ability to Limber, Ditto's only non-hidden ability. If you want Imposter, it'll be way tougher, you can read the guide if you want that. Dittos cannot pass down Hidden Abilities anyway.
Set the country to Japan, and origin to Black 2, for the sake of convenience. We'll be making the ditto look like it came from a Japanese Black 2 cart.
