Wew. I forgot Metal Burst was a counter type move (mainly because I never see it used anywhere) and it Ichigo from full health down to 6 HP. Had I gotten a higher damage roll on my first surf he might not have made it.
Anyway, Byron down. Grinding for him took a stupidly long time because I was doing it on the route by the daycare hoping to thief a lucky egg from a chansey. No dice there, but also no casualties since my last check in, so that's nice.
