Kind of don't want to deliberately kill anything for the challenge, but I also don't want to lose, so Libra and maybe Joker are getting axed. Not quite sure yet about Scarecrow, but the fact he doesn't get any boosting moves and only really checks specific stuff makes me hesitant, especially when there's an Empoleon or Registeel I can go grab right now that do what he does better.

You'll get better as you do these, you'll develop more of a feel for how things work and what to watch out for. Don't worry too much about stuff like losing your starter either, especially Prinplup given how strong Gyarados is Sinnoh.
