Wiped at Bugsy. I lead with intimidate Ekans (My ace for the battle) who only got the chance to sting once before being crit into the red. My Chikorita and Hoppip couldn't get their poison procs off either so it was just Pidgey, Spearow and Rattata who couldn't stand up to the quick attack barrage. My biggest fuckup was critting my geodude encounter because that 4x rock weakness really takes the edge off. Second attempt is already looking better.

>>50649408Hoppip is one to store and bring back out once he can get LS. It's a wasted slot otherwise because it's simply too weak to rotate in on and then you get caught in the loop of synthesis, damage, synthesis etc.

The Ace trainer double battle can catch you out if you've suffered a loss and haven't brought your team back up to scratch and I swear I always forget the one veteran at the end so I end up fighting him at half health. Cyrus is pretty much a pushover until Distortion World but you're on easy street until then with Infernape and Bastiodon.
