You're also likely getting +1 for each bump in rarity.
The single-stage pokemon seem to be worth 5 manes at base.
Evolved pokemon most likely get +1 per stage.
Pichu is worth 6, so I'm not sure if Electric types grant a flat +3 or if it's actually x2 (I'm thinking the former).
And Raikou itself is worth 30. Not sure how rarer styles will factor into the number of manes gathered, but there are 3 styles total.
