Ideas on how to make this cave a bit more exciting?

>You're brought here as part of a quest to find the Mining Kit because the guy who was working in there ran into some aggressive Pokemon. The guy who gives you the quest warns you that he left some explosives behind as he was fleeing the area. It's in the top right corner of the map, in a Pokeball.
>Next to it is a Pokeball that's actually a Voltorb. There are several Voltorb-balls in the area.
>In the top left there's a mining rock you can access once you've found the mining kit, but the rubble continues to block an area off. A TM ball is visible from the blocked entrance.
>In the bottom left you can find the first instance of the Blast Powder item, which lets you re-mine the mining rock and remove it.
>Then you can move into the room housing the TM. It's Echoed Voice, which is decent in the early game. Whismur is also a common mon in the area.
I'll add some more decorations, more walls, etc. to the inaccessible portion of the map. I'm wondering if I should add a mining rock near the blast powder just as a noob trap for players who didn't notice or forgot about the TM room just north of it.
