Give it a Mega-Evolution. The thing holding Meganium back the most are its stats, which are not terrible itself, but just outclassed by even Tangela as a defensive mon. The only way to make Meganium work would be a Mega-Evolution that adds Stats, a decent ability, maybe even an additional typing to make it stand out more.
