From a certain perspective all turn-based RPGs are easy because all you have to do is select the right options, but there are easier and harder ones.
These are the trophies for the North American PS4 version of Persona 3 Portable.
From a sample size of over 1,000 players, only 12% beat the game. Almost half gave up before the first boss. A few players got all the way to the very end of the game, beat the penultimate boss, and then gave up on the final boss.
For comparison, 84% of Final Fantasy X players finished the first area and 29% beat the final boss. Ryuu ga Gotoku 0, theoretically a harder game because it's an action RPG, had 87% of players beat the first boss and 65% beat the final boss. More players beat the final boss of that game than the first boss of Persona 3.
Megaten designs are also about as creative as Pokemon designs IMO.
There are a lot of Pokemon designs that are essentially "a big crab" "a bigger crab" "an even bigger crab" "a crab with boxing gloves", so compared to that Megaten's penis monsters and fucked up corpses feel somewhat unique if nothing else.
