The intro is honestly a tad tedious to replay, but I think Lusamine and Your Boy are both cool villains and they make it worth it. I also enjoy the UBs and how much the box legend actually matters to the story.
I hope future gens continue to focuse on plot like that, but maybe don't take control away that often.
USUM ruined Gen VII's story by removing a lot of the things that made it cool. At least Ultra Necrozma was difficult
