I can't believe you would doubt Masuda like this when Masuda has done nothing but try to make breeding less and less tedious over the years. He even has THE easiest in-game shiny breeding method named after him, beyond actual RNG manipulation like using a program or the Magikarp method.
OP is absolutely a retard, but there is one thing he's right about: the possibility of an autosave happening after you catch a legendary or get an unbreedable gift pokemon and be unable to reset for a better nature/IVs/shinyness if it isn't shinylocked. I highly doubt they would really do that, it would be incredibly shitty, but even in that case you could still get by for everything beyond shinyness. All you would need to do is prepare a Synchronize mon with the ability you want along with your other catching mons, catch it, then hyper train for perfect IVs. The imperfect natural IVs won't matter because you can't breed the pokemon anyway.
Worst case scenario, some lazy injection shitter will take a couple bucks and give me the (shiny) mon I need and anything else I can enjoy getting for myself. Some might even do it for free.
