I get that sometimes the comparisons aren't perfect, which is why I've been more lenient about picking sprites outside of the same height, but I don't feel comfortable picking something half the height of a Pokemon just to match body types. Yes, the heights are probably going to be changed in the future, but I sincerely doubt that they're going to change so dramatically that these comparisons will be completely off. Sprite size does mostly correlate with in-game height as well. There are certainly exceptions (like how itty bitty Sudowoodo is), but for the most part, Pokemon within roughly the same height will have the same size sprite.
In the end, these comparisons are really meant to catch the sprites that are dramatically too big or too small (pic related) not something that might be 2-3 pixels too tall. I'll do my best to pick the best sprites I can for comparisons, but i don't think it's the end of the world if its not perfect.
