I did a blind Nuzlocke of SwSh (having not played a pokemon game since BW2), got pretty far but lost in the end. Because I had no idea about the typings, stats, or learnsets of the new pokemon past Gen 5, I slowly started to lose my best pokemon as I approached the end game and had a bunch of severely underleveled liabilities to fall back on which gradually got picked off over the course of the playthrough. Great pokes like Gyarados, Coalossal, Pawniard, Frosslass, Dugtrio, Haxorus, Chandelure, Toxicroak, Whiscash, and Toxipex all fell.
But one pokemon managed to pull through and carry me all the way to the championship match with Bede, and that was a Spritzee holding an Eviolite (which I still have no idea how to evolve). I love this jewey fairy thing and I'm sad that she was robbed of her rightful championship win by iron head flinching of all things, but that's just how it goes.
