I was born in 1995 and remember my school giving away battle discs when I was in 3rd grade because of something about the teacher's husband having an excess of these my memory is foggy but I remember trading these things with my classmates my clearest memory was trading a growlithe disc for a magmar disc and ever since I had an attachment to the butt face boi. While I played bits of yellow and Crystal that my cousin owned I only ever got my own pokemon game by emerald so that's why I'm most nostalgic over hoenn.
