This thread made me remember that Tranquill exists, and today I just learned that the black feather ruff is only around its neck. I've only ever looked at the Sugimori art, so I always thought it had a feather mullet because there's no separation in the lineart between the neck and ruff. I hated this Pokemon for years because it looked like a greasy rockstar pervert crossed with a 1950s bob cut. It's like my eyes have been opened for the first time. I apologize to the poor fuck.
