The game acts as though we spent an incredibly amount of time with Alanah, like here's the big payoff or something, "her moment of progression", but we've barely interacted with her since the start of the game, she was barely around Polaris, barely around in Calvera and then in the next two chapters she was basically not even brought up once outside of a random phone call a random comment from Morgan, even in Starlight she was barely around and when she was, she wasn't pleasant to be around.
