When I started Nuzlocking White 2 I got TPK'd like four times before the 2nd gym because I had no idea what the fuck was doing and let stupid mistakes happen. But every time I restarted the game with my male Oshawott my first catch was a female Purrloin.
Now I'm obsessed with them being star crossed lovers who destiny is conspiring to keep apart, because every time I play through one of them dies to sheer bullshit. I can't even force myself to keep playing if I catch anything other than a female Purrloin on the first route (or a male if my Oshawott is female, which happened once). I have this whole neurotic skit in my head about how she starts off teasing him because he's small and mouselike, then when he evolves she thinks he's a cool Samurai guy, then she evolves and he gets nervous around her because she's all limber and sexy, and then he evolves and she snuggles up with him every night because he's finally big and strong enough to handle her...
I can't contain my autism on this, I've been denied fulfillment of my dumb mental fantasy by the cruel universe too many times. All I want is for them to Razor Shell and Night Slash the shit out of the Elite Four so they can have a cute little kitten, is that so much to ask? Whoever put the Daycare man in the Postgame in BW2 is a cruel bastard. ;-;
