>>50800101The difference between those five levels is that you can probably live a hit, at 55 you don't. and even if you do get fucked over your other mons can take more hits too, and deal just that little it more damage.
Gen3 and onward IVs and EVs are a huge deal since the AI, while still kinda dumb at times, is competent and won't spam Barrier against a level 2 Weedle.
