Acid instead, Joss tried to learn Sudoku, and I ran into yet another legendary bird. After getting several dupe Charmander, Charmeleon, and Machop from the Odd Egg, I finally hatched a shiny Hoothoot which I swapped out for Ho-Oh because I like to live dangerously. Then I remembered Hoothoot's offensive stats are ass. Oh well. Whitney had Rapidash and Nidoran, the latter of which Hedwig actually managed to kill. I got my third badge and a Steel Wing TM, which I'm saving for Joaquin when Hedwing inevitably kicks the bucket.
