But the trick is before each direction there will be a sign which gives a hint as to what type of team your going to face. (i.e wallbreaker or heavy defense)

Most gym trainers will be will be veterans and ace trainers with a few Battle girls thrown in. The badge will resemble a Gem encircled by a dragons body.
