>>39398915Because Gen 1 is closer to OoT and Final Fantasy 7. It isn't just the original, it's the one people can't stop talking about. And because of it, it's spawned an entire demo that only knows Gen 1. That isn't the case with FF1 or OG Zelda. The same people are also the ones who dismiss everything else about the franchise, rather than compare and contrasting. This isn't even just nostalgiafags, but uninformed people as well. This will, of course cause retaliation from those that are fans of other gens.
