Card balance aside, the most unbalanced part about this game is the going first/going second coin toss.
Going second gives you a massive complete full tempo advantage in a game that's normally going to be decided about 6 rounds in (and wrapped up in about 9 or 10). Going first gives you nothing.
Someone explain to me why they couldn't just make the player going first be able to attach energy first, but disallow the player going first from attacking. They just get to attach 1 energy. The player going second gets to attach 1 energy too, but unlike the player going first, they get to attack. Basically the player going first gets to have an energy tempo advantage but the player going 2nd gets about a 30-ish damage tempo advantage.
I don't understand why they decided to give the player going second such a massive advantage.
