I truly miss Gen 3 - 5 though. It was the peak of the franchise honestly and it felt like they still cared. It's just been downhill since the 3DS era and onward happened for some reason. If we got another era of spinoffs and great games like that again, I'd go back to playing Pokemon as usual in a heartbeat.
