when i was a little kid, i adored pokémon. one of my earliest memories is me begging my mom to go to blockbusters to pick out pokémon movies. so you bet i was ecstatic when getting one of these; my very first poke plush! don’t remember the occasion, i think i just picked it out at the store with my grandma. i named her maggy, and she went everywhere with me. one of the best moments in my life was laying in the warm summer grass, fiddling with this plush, imagining what it’d be like if i had my own living pokémon companion. despite being just a plushie, through hectic financial struggles, my dad going to jail, domestic violence, and a lot more, maggy was always there by my side. not sure what happened to her, but i miss her and will never forget about her!
