Now, here's something dumb. While I was battling their Golbat, their Kadabra APPARENTLY stole all my Pokémon, my Pokédex, and my Symbols, without me noticing.
How'd they steal the Pokémon I had out to battle their Golbat then? Why didn't I use that to blast them to oblivion with Surf?
Anyway, now I'm trapped in a cell. I expect to be bailed out soon given I'm helpless by means of plot incontinence.
