>>53529718Pretty sure TrashGren was strictly made to combat Megas in the anime & they had no idea it would only add to Greninja's initial popularity. And without a third version for gen6 we never got the chance to explore this "phenomenon" more & all for the better. Good fucking riddance.
But most likely the fact that Gren won Pokemon of the year twice in a row even after it was Dexcut for a gen. it encroaching on Zard+Shilldog's turf is a huge nono since it wasn't tailor-made to be shilled like the rest, like they wanted it to be popular but it really got out of hand.
