Unrelated but I'm stepping out to try catching a Fletchling today! It's been years since I last caught anything, which was a Ditto during a safari I went on with a friend. I'm kind of nervous about it, I went a little overboard with buying Pokeballs this morning and got a free ball from the store for my purchase! I'm worried my Greninja will go a bit overboard though, he's markedly stronger than any of the wild Pokemon around Camphrier.
I'll probably hold off on finishing the gym challenge; there were trainers posting full teams ready for the conference which is happening in two months. There's no way I can finish the gym circuit in that time with six badges I still need. I don't think anyone here thought I had a shot for it anyway and they're probably right.
