Eevee teams are pretty common on random battle spot. A lot of times it seems like the teams could actually be playable if the player made competent teambuilding decisions and actually picked decent combinations of the eevees. They're kind of wild cards, you never know for sure what three they might pick.
I went against an opponent once that put up a good fight with Vaporeon and Jolteon before revealing that his 3rd was a regular Eevee and disconnecting. If he had either a Sylveon or Glaceon in its place he actually could have had a chance at winning that match.
Needless to say, Eevee teams are not something players actually expect to do well with, they're just trying to have a good time... And mess with everyone's heads in the process.
Seriously, I had another one go in with Leafeon, Espeon and Jolteon... Of the three of those, why the fuck would you lead with Leafeon? Why the fuck would you bring Leafeon at all? Mind games.
