>>38004914It just looks off. You could do a gradient thing to sort of imply that it looks like a sword but it's actually just flesh, or you could put like a little ring around the base like a hand guard many cutlasses have.
Honestly the tail is fine even if you leave it as is, the coat feeling so inorganic is the biggest flaw in my eyes.
