>>20527580I've been around since gen 1 and absolutely hated zubat and golbat with a passion (still do). When gen 2 came out, and I wanted to complete the pokedex I didn't have a guide or the internet to see what I needed/didn't need. When I saw that there was a slot in the pokedex after golbat, I guessed it might have an evolution and I figured I would hate it.
Eventually I raised its happiness enough and a glorious crobat was born. I loved the design compared to the other 2 and it's a pretty solid mon all around. Crobat became my bro4lyfe immediately, even considering how much I hate zubat and golbat.
I think Crobat is one of the few things I actually like that came out of gen 2
