I did some research into when she was first revealed to the public, and apparently it was on March 3rd, 2011, 8 days before Japan's deadly earthquake. This means that there were people who saw her on the website (this image) and subsequently lost their lives in the earthquake or tsunami before they got the chance to see her in action.
Now I'm sad. Well, at least we still have Loli Mary. She doesn't have any disaster attached to her.
