And pokemon ARE dangerous, that's the first thing Oak tells you in the first game, and the main reason Ghetsis thought his plan was a good idea, think about it, most bad guys in the pokemon world are going to give up when you defeat their pokemon, they wont stand a chance, even against one Magikarp.
